Detroit Net-Worm and Chuch Education & Faith Development Work Group of the Detroit Presbytery will present a Conference on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church, 1669 W. Maple Rd., Birmingham, MI 48009.  The conference has multiple foci.  One track is designed for staff members and/or church members/volunteers of churches considering using the Workshop Rotation Model - as well as for those who have recently transitioned to Workshop Rotation.  A second track is on using Workshop Rotation to teach about worship.  It will include an introduction to the Worship for Life Resource Collection.  Tracks three and four explore using the Worship for Life Resource Collection in Art, Cooking, Drama, Games, and Music workshops.  (More information on Worship for Life is available here.)

Track One Workshops will include "WoRM 101," "Developing a Scope and Sequence," and "Transforming Workshop Spaces."

Scheduled presenters are Phyllis and Ken Wezeman, Mary Jane Huber, Cathy Skogen-Soldner, Laura Price, and Dianne Kruzman.

Cost:  $50.00/person and $35.00/person for groups of three or more.
