In December 2015, we migrated all our great content to the new web platform and appearance you see before you. Read more about new site features here.

The following was one of several "how-to" emails we sent to members introducing the new site....

Top Ten "Sort of Secret Things" at Rotation.org

1.  There's a magic asterisk that tells you "if" and "which admin" updated the post your looking at the most recently

2. Do you see what a Supporting Member sees?

Supporting Members can click any member's name or pic in a post and view that person's basic profile provided at registration. Only admins can see all your information.*  You can also hide your profile info by disabling it in your Profile's control panel.

*Admins cannot see your password. But we can change it for you, if needed. And we also cannot see your membership transaction info. That's truly top secret!

3. We have ZERO members in Greenland

See a world map of where all our Registered and Supporting Members live.

4. You can have a "Special Name" at our site.

Supporting Members can change their "displayed" name --the one that appears on their posts and profile. Go to your Profile.

5. You have a special "Member Title" that changes with your level of activity on the site.

Lesson Wrangler, Mythic Worm Warrior, etc etc.
See what the titles mean and which site activities gain you new level titles.

6. You have a "Community Ranking" number next to your name in your profile.

However, whether it says #11 or #11111, we ignore this numerical ranking because we really don't know how it is computed, ... It just came with the software.

7. Who is the person posting as "Wormy" all over the site?

Wormy is our paid admin. Her (or his) identity is a closely guarded secret, so we could tell you, but then we'd have to sign you up for VBS at our church.    (Or you could look here.) Wormy works for and with our volunteer Board.

And who is that "Lesson-Form-a-teer" I see updating stuff?
This is a young lady we pay to improve the readability and layout of your posts.

8. You can create a "custom signature" that appears at the bottom of your posts.

Why use it? It's an internet thing. Maybe to include quotes and links to your church or blog. Network!  Go to your Profile page and scroll down to the signatures field.

9. Go ahead, be a Creeper...

You can "follow" (aka "creep" or watch) a specific forum and get email-notifications of each new topic and/or reply posted in that forum. Go to your Forum Notifications control panel to manage/create your "follow" settings, or, just go to the forum from which you want updates emailed to you and click "follow."

10. As of January 2016 we have just gone over 1100 Supporting Members.

We don't often advertise that "secret" number because some people might think "they don't need anymore." Truth is, we need to get to about 1200 to 1300 supporting members to meet our growing needs. The technical side of our site has grown more complex and time consuming --requiring almost daily webmaster help. Our site's lesson content  has also grown, and is in constant need of improvement. In 2015, we hired our first "lesson writer" to improve content, and there's plenty more to do!

The number of "Registered" (free) Members is around 9500. We cull this list every year.

And here's no secret...

We appreciate everyone who feels blessed by this site.
