About "The WoRM" The WoRM got it start in the early 90's as a response to the chronic problems many Sunday Schools face. It has now spread to over 8000 churches and can be found in churches across the denominational spectrum. While the lessons you see here in the Lesson Exchange are creative, they are NOT unlike many of the creative lessons you can find in other curriculum. The BIG difference is that Rotation is that Rotation is a DIFFERENT MODEL for organizing our teachers, outfitting our classrooms, moving our students, and arranging our teaching schedules. Students rotate to a different creative "workshop" and teacher each week, studying the same story for 4 to 5 weeks through a variety of experiences and methods. Kids love the creativity and anticipation of a new experience each week. Teachers love being able to specialize and repeat their lessons, Pastors love the deepening Bible memory that repetition brings, and parents love not having to wrestle their kids into Sunday School. ABOUT ROTATION.org Rotation.org was created in 1997 to share articles, lessons and advice about the Workshop Rotation Model. It is a non-profit 501-3c volunteer led organization, run by a volunteer Board of Directors and staffed by Phyllis and Ken Wezeman, our part-time paid coordinators. We are an independent group. We are not officially connected to any denomination or publisher. We are entirely supported by donations from individual users and churches. Learn more about the Board. We are truly an ecumenical bunch. You'll find materials posted by church educators, pastors and volunteers from across the denominational spectrum. Because the Rotation Model began among Presbyterian churches, and quickly spread among Methodists and Lutherans, you'll notice that the bulk of materials here have a mainline flavor. |
