Reply to "ART Workshop Lessons for Fruit of the Spirit"

Here is a photo of a bulletin board, offered by the Church of Grace, in Shellsburg Iowa.

Fruit of the Spirit Cross Tree

Galatian 5:22-23 love. We are using this verse for Love and studying the Fruit of the Spirit. If you look at the tree you will see a cross beside it. We talked about each of the fruit, plus how each one goes together.

Carol: This "tree" reminds me of Zaccheus' tree in Luke 19:1-10 -- which the Writing Team is just now finishing up lessons about. The "Sycamore" tree Luke writes about is the common FIG tree, i.e. a fruit tree.  Zach's story demonstrates that just the act of LOOKING for Jesus, and/or being ready to respond to his call is also a kind of spiritual fruit.
