Ideas for Teaching with the Vallotton Illustrations

Zacchaeus-J.H.T-30-color

The line drawings of Bible stories by Annie Vallotton can be used in a variety of ways.

The large format color images can be projected on screens in worship. Smaller black and white images are perfect for game workshop handouts and for newsletters. And the dramatic art style used by Annie Vallotton lends itself to use in art and drama workshops.

Share your suggestions for using the Annie Vallotton Bible Illustrations by posting a reply below.  And look for additional ideas in the individual workshop technique forums.

Remember that while the artwork was created to illustrate specific stories, many of the images can be used to represent other stories as well.

The Griggs grant their permission to the Supporting Members of Rotation.org and their local congregations for the non-commercial use of the Vallotton illustrations solely within their congregation's ministry. See the usage restrictions for more information and help copying the images.
