Wormy Note:

This parable is NOT often taught in Rotation Churches, which accounts for the lack of material here at Rotation.org.   Why isn't it taught in most Rotation churches?  It's because we spend four to five weeks per story, and that means we only teach 9 to 12 stories a year.  This is our "less is more" approach.  As well, the meaning of the Great Feast is contained in other stories of invitation/outcasts/Kingdom of God.

That said, we welcome all great teaching ideas and resources!

Video/DVD:
Signs of the Times by Nest Entertainment, animated 30 mins.

Jesus uses the parables of the King's Wedding Feast and the Thief in the Night to teach His disciples to have humility, to repent, and to be prepared for the day He comes again. Through parables, Jesus teaches His disciples to patiently watch for the significant signs that will precede His Second Coming. You'll see how the disciples misunderstood the meaning of His parables. Even with these insights, will we also misunderstand the signs of His coming today?

The DVD's now come with 3 question sets, which the kid's love to answer as a team, taking turns using the DVD remote to pick the answer of their choice. I checked and the 2nd quiz set covers this parable.
