Software Download Links & Info

Thank you for being a Supporting Member of Rotation.org!

The following post contains all 24 download links and important information about how to download each program's zip file, unzip it, and run the program's installation file.

Below the following download links are some VERY IMPORTANT technical notes regarding installing the software, handling Windows security question pop ups, and installing Quicktime 7.7.9 which many of these programs require.

A "README" text file is included in each downloadable zip file. It has some important tech notes for your software. Read it!

You can PRINT any of the instructions below by selecting them with your mouse, right-clicking, and selecting print.)

FIRST, you need to download the program's zip file

mceclip0 Most of the following download links will take you to a Google Drive webpage where you can download the software's zip file.

When you get there, CLICK THE DOWNLOAD ICON or the "download button" to start downloading the zip file. (See helpful graphics below.)  Google Drive may ask you a security question, just say "yes."

A few of the downloadable programs are stored here on Rotation.org' servers and not on Google Drive. They will immediately begin to download when clicked.

SECOND, you need to unzip the downloaded file, then run the program's installer.

After downloading your zip file, unzip/extract it into a new folder on your PC and follow the INSTALL instructions found below. The readme file that comes with your downloaded zip file also has important installation and operational instructions. Read it.

Guides to the software are included in the download. They are also publicly accessible on the software description pages here at Rotation.org.

THIRD, you may need to install QUICKTIME for Windows to run parts of some of these programs.

Quicktime is the program that runs some of the animations and videos in some of the programs. See each program's specific "readme" notes about that, or the tech notes below, or otherwise go to Apple's site to download Quicktime for Windows.

See the "how to download, unzip, and share" notes at the end of this post. 👀

Downloading the Software's Zip File

These Bible software programs are Windows-only programs. There are no Mac or "tablet" versions of these programs. They will work from XP to Windows 11.

To download a specific program, click its "Download the Zip File" link found in the list above.

If the file is stored here at Rotation.org the download will begin immediately.

However, most download links will take you to a private GoogleDrive folder where you will need to click the download link or download icon to start the download of the program's "zip" file from Google Drive to your computer. Note where your computer is downloading to (probably your "downloads" folder) so you know where to find the download to unzip it.

What the Google Drive download page may look like to you...

Your image may look slightly different.

GoogleDriveHelp

You can ignore messages like the following if you see them and continue "downloading anyway." We vouch for their safety!

In some cases, your download may show you a bunch of files in the download.
Just hit the download link to get them all.

Now that you've downloaded the software's zip file...

Next, you need to unzip the downloaded zip file into a new folder. After you've done that, go find the "installation" program in the unzipped files' folder so you can install the software on your hard drive.  Read on...

3 Steps to Installing the Downloaded Software

  1. Once downloaded to your computer, double-click the zip file to "unzip/extract" its files into a new folder. You can choose/create a folder to unzip it into. Note the location of that new folder on your PC because the PDFs and software program's installer/setup "exe" file will unzip into that folder.

(Where did it download to? By default, it probably downloaded into your computer's download folder. Find the zip file there and double click it to "unzip" it into a brand new folder where you can then run the installation program.)

Read the "README" file which came with the download.

  2. Go to the unzipped folder, print the PDFs, and run the installation program (an 'exe' file).

BY DEFAULT, this installation program will create a folder on your harddrive located at c:\Program Files (86x). It will install the program's files there AND put a startup icon on your Desktop.

  3. You should also read our general install and tech tips that apply to most of the programs.

SECURITY NOTE:

When you first try to run the software's installation program, your security program may show you a warning screen. It's okay, it's just your computer being careful. FIND the "more info" or "run anyway" option to allow the installer to do its work.

Here's an example of the Windows Defender warning screen and "run anyway" option:

RunAnyway

When you run the installer, Windows will also likely show you this "security" message.

Sharing the Software

Non-supporting members can't access this download page.

If you want to share the software with a teacher or member of your church family for use either at church or at home, you will need to share your downloaded zip file one of two ways:

(1) Upload the zip file to your own online storage and share a private link to it only within your congregation.

usbkey(2) Transfer the downloaded zip file to a USB memory drive and give it to church members.

The software may not be shared beyond your congregation. Links to the download files may not be publicly posted.

Please remember to give teachers and families the PDF Guides!

Tech Support

To make a program fill more of the screen, read "adjusting display size" article. It's easy to do and some programs will need you to do that. You can also print this handout.

In many cases, the "Guide" and "Readme" file that came in the download has the tech notes you need to heed. If you encounter a problem, read those docs.
