Examples of "inside the box" images

The question which the "inside the box images" is trying to answer is:

  • "What does God look for in a person's heart?"
  • "What is God looking for in your heart?"

Finding images for these questions will be harder than finding images that go on the outside of the box (how the world judges people, defines success, etc), --so you will want to share some examples with your students to prime their searching.

Examples:

-an image celebrating someone else

-an image of people sharing, or playing together

-image of someone rescuing a person or holding a child

-image of someone praying.

Here are three examples I pulled from an online image search.

Note: It is NOT recommended that you have kids do an online search. Use magazines instead! Safer that way.    (Or print out some photos from a search you did prior to class and have them available in case no one can find anything.)

Tip: Medical offices are a great source of old magazines, especially those like "Family" and "Fitness."
