(WT) Anointing of David ~ Cooking (2 lessons)

Rotation.org Writing Team

Anointing of David

Cooking Workshops

Two to choose from below on this page:

Cooking Workshop 1:

Learn about the use of anointing oil in the story of David and its function in the church today and make bottles of cinnamon scented oil to take home as a great olfactory reminder of the meaning of this lesson.

 Cooking Workshop 2:

Students will split into two group and make two different recipes of either muffins (or brownies). One recipe has a major missing ingredient - which illustrates the idea of having the right ingredients in your heart, so that you can please and serve God. Then, a "Tasty Disciple" reflection, has kids naming and sprinkling key ingredients on each other -- things that we need in their heart in order to be great leaders for God.

These two lessons are open to Supporting Members only.
