COVER A DOOR with the names of Jesus

I got this idea when I saw one of the sets of doors going into the the basilica Sagrada Familia in Barcelona which list the names of Jesus in different languages as well as some of the Gospel of John. Jesus is the Door!

You can see a variety of pictures here.

Here is a nice close up, showing what the words look like.

It would be fun to decorate a classroom door (covered in paper, of course) with names of Jesus.

Names of Jesus Paper Chain

We made a names of Jesus paper chain for the children to use as an Advent countdown.  We typed up a list of the different names, the verse address and explained briefly what each meant then printed them on brightly colored paper and cut them into strips.  Each child received one set of strips to tape or staple together during the lesson and had a very colorful chain to take home to countdown the days to the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ!
