Review: this book is amazing, covers 17 parables (3 lost stories in one chapter) and each one is covered several different ways. Background information on each parable, grace connections, memory sparks, interactive ideas, adapting the story for different age levels, creative costume and prop ideas, applicaiton and discussion questions, etc.

Another great book on parables is called"Parables for Kids", by Danae & James Dobson, Tyndale, 2005, 9781414302744.   OUT OF PRINT - suggest do an internet search.

The stories have modern-day versions of the parables which are perfect for all elementary age children

This 13 lesson book for pre-schoolers is full of fun and song with a CD in the back of the book. Mary Rice Hopkins sings a song about each parable to teach your little ones in a way they will remember as they do actions to the songs. Each lesson in the book corresponds to the song and contains a supply list, Scripture reference, welcoming activity, parable discovery, sing and celebrate song, snack, game and a prayer.
