Ideas

The following suggestions were culled from a previous thread about music resources for a song titled "Ten Lepers" that someone was trying to find.

There is a song by Miriam Therese Winter called "Ten Lepers." It is on her CD, "Joy is like the rain", 1966. There was a $4.00 songbook to go with it. It's older, but the CD can still be found on-line if you do a web search.

Update: This song was also later published in the book "Singing the New Testament" published by Faith Alive, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 2008, 9781592554164.

The tune has a 4/4 time signature. When it is set in the key of  D, the first few notes are F A A AB B B.

You can listen to it here: http://www.godsongs.net/2016/0...-in-hebrew-town.html

The chorus goes:
Ten unclean with nowhere to go
Ten men cleansed as clean as snow
One returned to give God thanks
But Nine went away.....

"You can actually find this Ten Lepers song on Itunes and download it."

The walking and leaping song I know is about Peter and Paul on the way to the temple healing a crippled beggar (Acts 3:1-8). It's called "Silver and Gold Have I None". Part of the song goes:

quote:
he went walking and leaping and praising God ....

We love that song and used it as a lesson in the 3-5 year old class - we made ribbon sticks and walked and leaped around the church. Sorry, this doesn't help with the ten leapers, but it's a great song. It's on the Wee Sing Bible Songs cd/tapes and book, along with tons of other great songs. Book ISBN 0843115661

I created this "mash up" of Saddleback Kid's Ten Lepers animated story with Chris Tomlin's version of Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) as a reflection piece for my Sunday School, and for www.rotation.org. Hope you enjoy it.

You can find it on YouTube at https://youtu.be/dktZJee_2BU

You can play it from your cellphone's internet connection to a TV in your classroom by connecting your cellphone to your TV using an inexpensive adapter cable.

Here's help: https://www.rotation.org/topic...blet-to-tv-projector
