Introducing Rotation.org's newest resource:

"Preparing for Advent in 2020"

Ideas, programs, lessons, resources, and discussion

Social-distancing, gathering restrictions, the cancellation of traditional events (or need to rethink them), curtailed Christmas activities, financial hardship, anxieties, closings, election "hangover," travel restrictions -- challenging times call for creative responses!

That's why we've launched the Advent in 2020 forum and filled it with some exciting and timely teaching, worship, program, and pastoral suggestions (including at-home activities), all geared for this unusual year. Come join the discussion and pick up some great ideas.

  • Advent "Trails"
  • An "Advent Haggadah" (at-home celebration)
  • At-Home Advent Lessons
  • Favorite Advent and Christmas story videos
  • Christmas programs with social-distancing restrictions
  • Pastoral responses to feelings of loss, despair, and dislocation this year
  • and more...

New "Treasures"

New Treasures at Rotation.orgRobin and Cathy have been at it again!—unearthing clever ideas buried in our extensive archives. View their finds.

This time they are spotlighting two art projects that exemplify "choosing art projects and techniques that fit the scripture and its meaning." Come see the Psalm 8 "Starry Night" art project and the aluminum foil sculpture technique for Ruth and more.

Jesus is Born!  A shorter, simpler adaptation of the Writing Team's lesson set. for home use, and also for in-class use where numbers or restrictions may be a factor. Open to all.

The Ten Commandments, the latest new lesson set from our Writing Team geared for both at-home and for physically-distanced in-class Sunday School. Available to our Supporting Members (though the Cooking Workshop's candy-making lesson is open to all!).
