Here's a list of Banner/Textile teaching techniques that were generated at my two "There are Methods to this Madness" workshops at CMA in Chicago in March, 2004. I'm just typing them from the newsprint, so there might be some duplicates.

USE BLEACH PENS to write/draw on colored fabric/t-shirts.

Several members here at Rotation.org have discussed using "bleach pens," --the kind you buy at the grocery story in the laundry aisle, to use as "markers" on colored fabric.

Think of it as a "reverse tye-dye".  After drawing on the colored fabric, the fabric is cleaned.

Please remember that bleach is caustic and should only be used in a supervised manner by older children.
