A drama about baptism using the text of Walter Wangerin's children's book, Water Come Down: The Day You Were Baptized.

The attached script, which includes the words from Wangerin's story, was originally prepared to be performed by the children as part of their Baptism of Jesus Bible lessons.

it was performed using a black background and actors dressed in black and moving glow-in-the-dark painted props across the stage illuminated by blacklights -- while the narrator read the story.

Water Come Down is a lovely ILLUSTRATED children's book. it can be purchased on Amazon and at Augsburg Fortress.

Text of the story, not including the illustrations, used in their doc file and posted by member ELCOC BLAST fall under the "fair use" interpretation of copyright  -- non-substantial part of the work and use for non-commercial teaching purposes.
