Real Heroes Bible Poster Collection

For many years over at my software website, I carried the "REAL HEROES" Bible poster collection. They're still for sale and it looks like they've added a few more.

The "style" is artistically 'realistic" and very much reminds me of the kind of art you find on VIDEO GAME posters and advertisements. Some are better than others. Your opinion may vary.  I especially like the Daniel, David, Ruth, Joseph, and Paul posters. In person, they are large and quite detailed. A short excerpt from scripture is included on the bottom of each.

Some people are surprised (even shocked) by the depiction of Peter and Paul as younger strong men. We're so used to thinking of them as old guys. But in fact, they were not old guys when they we first meet them in the Bible, and they would have had to be strong in order to haul fishing nets and make tents!

They come in various sizes. The 24 x 36 large poster versions fit nicely in an expensive poster frame from Wal Mart.  The large posters themselves are $10 each, which is very reasonable.

They do have one Jesus poster, but it has a modern young girl it. Hopefully someday the artist will make a better version. The artists and site are Mormons, so they have a few Mormon story posters as well.

Bible Movie Posters

My daughter used to sell these kinds of posters in her online store many years ago.  They look great in classrooms and especially if you use the Rotation Model and have a "Video Workshop" with a "Bible Movie" theme.

Look for them on Ebay.com and places like the Movieposters.com https://www.movieposters.com/c...heme-biblical-movies

Prince of Egypt posters are really cool, as is the 'reprint' version of the Ten Commandments movie poster.

NOTE:  Some Bible movie posters are considered "collectible" and rare, and will command a pretty penny. This is true of the Jesus Christ Superstar movie posters and original Ten Commandments posters.  If your church bought one in the past, hold onto to it!
