Teacher Training improves recruiting and teaching.
That's why our Blog Team has developed the "Be-attitudes" Fall Training Event
for our supporting members.
This training event models teaching techniques, instead of just talking about them.
This June we posted over a dozen GOOD free BIBLE VIDEO CLIPS we discovered on the web for use in Sunday School. As usual, we posted them in the public Bible story - Video Workshop topics they belong with. (BTW...There are many more we don't like and therefore, do not post.) Here are three to get you started:
- Philip and the Ethiopian Lesson Ideas ~ Cool new claymation video of this story.
- Peter and Cornelius "lunch bag" animation (its both a video resource and a puppet idea).
- Holy Week animated overview of Jesus’ Arrest, Crucifixion, and Resurrection (a good four-minute overview of what it's all about, and what it all means for ages 8 to 15.
Some recently added or improved teacher training posts:
- Teaching with Music: Ideas, techniques, methods, and lesson plan examples.
- Creative Ways to Read the Bible with Children in Sunday School.
