What have we been doing at Rotation.org? TONS!
We've been busy adding new teaching resources and improving existing ones.
Check some of them out below, or go to www.rotation.org
Come see what we think are some of THE BEST contemporary Christian songs (and music videos) suitable for teaching with in Sunday School. For the past two years, Rotation.org has been adding links to good contemporary songs and ideas about how to teach with them in our Bible lesson forum Music Workshops. Our Writing Team has also been suggesting new music and writing lesson plans that use Christian music videos. Both the music and our lesson references are a powerful and growing set of resources. Visit this resource especially if you're not "up" on what's current and awesome in Christian music (or need some convincing).
Come see our new and growing list of printable Guides to our Favorite Bible Videos:
What's in the Bible? 13 DVD series, Son of God, Joseph, Jeremiah,
Gospel of John, and more! (these are supporting member resources)See the six new creative lesson plans for "Jesus Raises Lazarus" by our Writing Team about one of the most important stories in the entire New Testament. Everyone can read the lesson summaries written. Supporting Members have access to all the special WT's lesson sets.
This June we posted over a dozen GOOD free BIBLE VIDEO CLIPS we discovered on the web for use in Sunday School. As usual, we posted them in the public Bible story - Video Workshop topics they belong with. (BTW...There are many more we don't like and therefore, do not post.) Here are three to get you started:
- Philip and the Ethiopian Lesson Ideas ~ Cool new claymation video of this story.
- Peter and Cornelius "lunch bag" animation (its both a video resource and a puppet idea).
- Holy Week animated overview of Jesus’ Arrest, Crucifixion, and Resurrection (a good four-minute overview of what it's all about, and what it all means for ages 8 to 15.
Some recently added or improved teacher training posts:
- Teaching with Music: Ideas, techniques, methods, and lesson plan examples.
- Creative Ways to Read the Bible with Children in Sunday School.
Coming later this summer:
- "Dealing with the Disruptive Student" ~ a new "Paste in My Hair" blog entry.
- "The Magi" --a new Advent lesson set from our Writing Team.
