This topic is collecting lesson ideas and resources for teaching Isaiah passages OTHER THAN the usual Advent related passages (Isaiah 9, Isaiah 40) which are found in our Advent forum.

Suggestions in this topic include ideas for Isaiah 6 (Holy Holy Holy, Send me).

Why don't we have much on Isaiah?
Because most Sunday Schools don't spend time in Isaiah, except for the two passages mentioned above. It's also due to our origins collecting lesson resources for Rotation Model Sunday Schools who only teach "major" Bible stories, and thus, don't find themselves knocking around the prophets too much with kids.

THE POTTER

Isaiah 64:8

Yet you, Lord, are our Father.
    We are the clay, you are the potter;
    we are all the work of your hand.

Isaiah 45:9

“Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots! Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no handles’?
