Help. I hve heard that some churches with shared space paint shower curtains to decorate their rooms. I would like to do this, but I'm wondering what materials to use. Is it best to use vinyl table cloths or cotton, and what type of paint is best for each material? Any ideas will be appreciated.

when we first "did" our storytelling room, we just painted a sheet - we used tempera paints - and hung that in our "tent". You can check it out on the "photos" section of this site -look for Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church in Crofton, MD. We have since painted the entire room to look like a desert. We used tempera paint on the walls (and ceiling) also. Works fine.
