This thread is for posting Audio/Visual "Video" Workshop lessons, video resources and a-v related ideas about Jesus and Peter.

We've placed this topic alongside the resources for teaching the story of Peter's Denial because it's not uncommon to "recap" the importance of Peter as part of a lesson about his denial.

"Come Follow Me ~ The Way, the Truth, and the Life: --with Bruce Marciano as Jesus. This newer (2014) video shows the life, death, resurrection of Jesus with a tremendous focus on PETER. Seems originally designed to explain "who Jesus is" to those unfamliar with him and tell his story in a dramatic yet abridged way.

It is really well done. Moving dialog. Peter's transformation from fisherman to denier to believer is all shown. It stars Bruce Marciano as Jesus (the same guy who portrayed Jesus in the Visual Bible's Matthew video). This is not simply a rehash of the Matthew video. This has new stuff.

Under $10 for the DVD from Vision Video. They've posted the full thing on YouTube and Vimeo as well.

These smaller image versions were created for and are posted in the A-V/Video Workshops that match their Bible Story. The attached doc file is a sample activity sheet about Peter and Jesus, showing the sorts of activities that can be done using the Vallotton Collection images. This can be adapted to use whatever images in the collection represent the stories you covering in a Rotation about Peter (or any other Bible story).

For example, reading Acts 3:1-10 to help students come up with some ideas for what to write in the speech bubbles.
