I found this very informative website for teaching children about Jewish history, holidays, the Hebrew alphabet, etc.

http://www.akhlah.com/

I am using it to help develop our workshop about the Sabbath.

Thank you, thank you for posting this link! Our church is beginning rotation with our midweek program starting in January and I am in the process of writing 3 sets of Jewish history rotation. I have the first set done, thanks to posts I found here, but this will really help me wrap things up. I was espeially excited to find that I can hear the alphabet being spoken. Thanks again big grin

For our workshop on the 4th Commandment: Remember the Sabbath, I want to actually "do" a Sabbath celebration. I found this website if anyone else is interested.

Thanks for the Sabbath Service link. It is to the point and quite useable. My kids loved challah and grape juice. Since we had done a Seder at Passover time using a version of the lessons found here, they were able to tell me how the Seder and the Sabbath observances were the same and different!
