This is a drama which the children prepared and performed while they were studying the story of Calling the Disciples and Stilling the Storm.

The “people” in this drama are puppets, who are all in some sort of trouble. They cry out for help and are rescued by a superhero. After being rescued, they appeal to the superhero for something else they need, but the superhero is unable to deliver. The superheroes all have other people to save. The “people” then ask who can help them. The superheroes tell the people who their superhero is, recalling how Jesus has the power to still storms and call people into lives of love and service.  The “people” thank the superheroes and become followers of Jesus.

The drama uses blacklight cardboard props for the superhero symbols, and sound effects- Batman, Superman, and Spiderman musical themes.
