If you are a registered member (for free), you know about the deep archive of creative lesson ideas for Sunday School in Rotation.org's public forums, but as a Supporting Member, there's MUCH more to be thankful for at Rotation.org. Read on as to why you'll want to upgrade your membership.
Supporting Members can browse, print, download, and modify hundreds of free, creative, broadly graded lesson plans from our Writing Team (WT), UNLIKE what you'll find anywhere else. "WT" Lesson summaries and Bible backgrounds are open to the public. Check them out.
Supporting Members can download and use Rotation.org's exclusive collection of 140+ Gospel illustrations from Annie Vallotton, the famous Swiss artist. Use them to illustrate teaching materials and newsletters, project in worship, and frame as art. See a preview of these beloved illustrations.
Supporting Members are thankful for our collection of teacher training articles and PDFs that they can share and discuss. The collection includes "Ten Great Reasons to Teach Sunday School," "Do Your Lessons Have a Jesus Gap?" "7 Secrets of a Super Teacher," "Safe Sunday Schools and Buildings," a teacher training event, and more. And the list keeps growing.
Supporting Members can freely download 24 Bible programs created for kids from Sunday Software. Each program can be installed on multiple computers (or just one) to give you a creative "tech" option for teaching today's kids. Use in class, on special teaching occasions, and at home. Everyone can read the descriptions and guides. Supporting Members also have a super-detailed and searchable outline to SunScool, the best free Bible app for kids available today!
Supporting Members can download over two dozen guides to popular Bible videos, including the 13 detailed outlines for the popular "What's in the Bible?" videos. Everyone can see the listings.
Supporting Members have a whole forum of ideas, research, resources, how-to (and how-not-to), experiences from churches, options, tech discussions about the subject, practices, meaning, and potential of "Online Sunday School."
In our "Pulling Back the Curtain" Forum Supporting Members can take a deep dive into creative and practical lesson writing insights gleaned from our 20+ years of Writing Team experience and the creative mind of our Lead Writer, Neil MacQueen.
Publishers must sell you what's new and retire the "old" stuff to make money. They also only give you one option per story. At Rotation.org, we believe in hosting MANY good ideas and lessons per Bible story so that you have MANY choices and can find what YOU want when you want it. We collect, curate, and archive; plus we keep coming up with new ideas and resources. Supporting Members makes that possible.
- Our "rogue" (unique, independent) non-profit uses a crowd-sourcing approach to collecting and improving on great ideas for Sunday School.
- We don't sell products for publishers.
- We aren't salespeople. We're children's educators, pastors, and teachers like you.
- We paint outside the lines and reach across denominations.
- And we think Sunday School can (and should) DO BETTER than construction paper and worksheets.
