I've see it and peg the age range on DVD #8 at Grades 2-7.
Only Chapter 5 on the DVD covers Psalms, but it gives a good OVERVIEW about what is a Psalm, what kinds, etc.
Chapter 5: "Songs (Psalms) in the Bible" (about 9 minutes long)
- Church Lady begins to talk about Psalms.
- Pastor Paul explains what the word "Psalms" means.
- Pirate Pete and Church Lady explain types of Psalms
- Psalms of David (by or about or for David)
- Psalm 23 spoken and explained.
- The Book of Psalms is the people talking back to God.
- A summary "Song about Psalms" followed by a summary by Phil.
