Source for art stools?

This discussion thread answers the poster's original question about "where can I find art stools for our Art workshop?"

If you're new to Rotation, you may wonder, "why do we need art stools?" Here's the answer!

  1. Art stools SLIDE easily under the table when you need to get them out of the way to work at the table on some projects.
  2. Art stools are LESS in the way when students start to move around the table working with each other and working with materials.
  3. Art stools have a SMALLER footprint than a folding chair, and you can sit and turn on them without having to turn the chair.
  4. Art stools SELF-ADJUST to your various age groups coming through the Art workshop. Smaller kids can sit on them and put their feet on the rung, while older kids can put their feet on the floor.
  5. Art stools are COOL looking!

--------------------
Generally speaking, there are two types of art stools you'll find:

Wood and Metal

Metal is more expensive, but they tend to hold up better over the years.
Wooden stools are less expensive, but they can get wobbly with use and time.

Below are some photos of different kinds of stools, used in various rooms (workshops) gathered from this site, to give you ideas.
