Reply to "What is the Cooking Workshop?"

Hi Julie,

I'm sure others will add to this basic list.

A basic all-purpose kitchen kit:

  • Timer
  • Aprons
  • Cookie sheets
  • Wooden spoons
  • Spatulas
  • Mixing bowls
  • Serving dish(es)
  • Foil, saran, napkins, silverware, plates, cups, paper towel
  • Hand washing and dish washing supplies
  • Towels
  • Potholders
  • Cooling racks
  • skillet
  • saucepan
  • pot
  • cutting boards
  • paring knives
  • chopping knife
  • bread knife
  • cooking spray
  • "take it home" storage supplies (depending on food)
  • Plastic tablecloths for quick clean up.
  • Dishpan and drying rack

Adjust for # of students and recipes

Depending on the recipe, you will invariably bring things from home.
