(WT) Paul and the Bright Light ~ Two Dramatic Scripts

Paul and the Bright Light

Two Dramatic Scripts

 from Amy Crane*

The first script is a "Readers Theater" script (next post). Readers Theater is a form of drama where the script is read with feeling and expression, but there are no costumes and there is little or no movement. Sometimes the readers sit on stools, and the presentation may be in a classroom, worship service, or other setting.

The second script (in the second post below), is a more interactive script that is read by a narrator, while the "actors" act out the action. Thus, it could be used with younger children. In Amy's second script, all the students are Saul and respond to the Storyteller's prompts.

Both could easily be adapted into a puppet or 'live' drama.

*Amy Crane is a long-time contributor to Rotation.org, one of our founding members, and joined the Rotation.org Board of Directors in 2015. A Sunday School teacher who specializes in drama and puppets, her lessons and scripts are a blessing to us all.
