Good Samaritans - make Heart Shaped Sugar Cookies then deliver to First Responders

Several years ago as part of our focus on this story, we had the children decorate heart shaped sugar cookies each week and  take them to a different place where we had identified people helping others as a way to say thank you, and to learn more about what it means to help others selflessly.  We live in a small town, so the children could easily walk to the local first responders; EMS/Ambulance crew; hospital ER; nursing home; police station.
