Here's your January 2021 Rotation.org Newsletter

Special 2021 Lenten Resources;

1. Lent 2021 Resources at Rotation.org

We've created a special Lent 2021 forum with lesson and celebration ideas specific to the needs of social distancing.  Check out the "Lenten Walk" ideas, and see Ten Commandments lessons written for at-home use and broadly graded use for those who are back teaching in-church during the pandemic. Add your suggestions and resources!

2. Take the New Survey:

Returning to in-class Sunday School in 2021

How many of you have returned to in-church Sunday School?
What was participation like with your on-line or at-home resources?
What's your biggest challenge ahead?
This survey is a follow-up to our Summer of COVID 2020 survey.

3. Welcome New Board Members Ron Shifley and Beth Tobin!

We're thrilled to welcome two new wonderful members to our Rotation.org Board.

Beth is the Deacon in charge of the Children and Education Ministry at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Olympia, Washington.  She writes: I got "hooked" on the rotation model of Sunday school in 2001 when I attended a conference and learned that there are churches out there who have people who line up to volunteer to teach Sunday school!  The fall of 2021 will be my congregation's 20th year using the Rotation Model. I'm excited to be part of Rotation.org Board and give back to this community which has inspired, encouraged, empowered, and strengthened me as a Christian education leader.

Ron is the pastor at the Immanuel Evangelical Church in Needville Texas. "I have seen the power of multi-learning center teaching can have in making Bible stories come to life for kids in the three churches that we have implemented this program.  I am excited to be able to help produce fresh curriculum and introduce the Rotation Model to churches so we can help kids dig deeper into the Bible and grow in the faith walk with Jesus."

Rotating off the Board is Donna Grabert from Turning Point UMC in Evansville, Indiana. Thank you Donna for all your help especially during a most challenging year!
