Here are some photos from our video lesson of Loaves & Fishes:  Jesus Feeds the 5000.  After watching the movie (Bread from Heaven from Nest), the lesson called for making "treat" bags to give to someone or an organization.  Our children made 25 treat bags for the homeless men that our church serves through the Room in the Inn program.  The children were most excited about decorating the cards for the men that went inside the bags!  This activity helped reinforce the memory verse for this lesson:  "I am the bread of life."  John 6:35

This video contains a very short object lesson and an animated version of the Feeding of the 5000 from the Gospel of John. Enjoy!

Jesus Feeds the 5000 is a catchy animated song by DG Bible Songs in a pop-kid-friendly style with life-applying lyrics.

The full lyrics are found on its YouTube page in the descriptions, as are links to the DG website where you can buy the music/instrumental and graphics. You can also find a listing of all their videos and related resources at https://dgbiblesongs.com/blog/.  Varying styles of music. Some of their videos are for very young children, some are quite contemporary. Some feature richer animation than others.

Maybe you feel that you have so little
But little is much for God.
Your life will be a miracle story
Trust Him and one day you’ll see
With five loaves and two fish
He fed all the starving crowds
Lay your life before God
And miracles will abound
